Description
I do wish Oriental Bittersweet was not a invasive species. Then I wouldn't have to feel guilty about liking it so much and looking forward to when the outer layer of the fruit splits open and exposes the deep red-orange part of the fruit. It's one of the few elements of color left as most of the trees are now bare until next spring.

I also love this beautiful plant and in the grand scheme of things not sure it so invasive. I seldom see it and when I do enjoy it immensely in the dull gray days of late November. LF
