This image was taken a week ago, but I was thinking today, while on my bike ride, that Queen Anne's Lace is one of those plants that look good in any stage, from when it is starting to bud to when it is done blooming and folds up on itself. What a great wildflower to see along the bike trail as I ride!

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans.
