My husband and I went to the Berkshires for vacation. One of the local attractions was the ruins of Ashintully Gardens. The ruins themselves were up the hill above the more naturalized garden area, and they were surrounded by overgrown paths. I don't know what happened to the structure, but what is left is slowly being claimed by the surrounding forest. This opening appears to lead to nowhere, but I love the sense of peering into a secret trail through the forest.
