Artist's Description
I had plans. I changed plans. Can anybody relate? My plans were to shoot shorebirds at a small nearby island. I was all bundled up (It's January in New England), got out of my car and got hit with brutally cold wind coming off the water. Within minutes my face hurt, and I had not come prepared for that! So as to not waste the drive to the coast, I got back in my car and headed just a few minutes away to this location that I knew would be more protected from the wind. It was an entirely different day than I had planned, but there were still fun finds to photograph, like this patch of rocky beach at low tide.

About Linda Bonaccorsi
I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans.
