There was a small group of mallards hanging out together on the canal. Of course, every time I stopped to take a picture, two or three would break off to leave the area. Shortly after the first exodus, the remaining ducks started to leave. It took a few minutes, but they kept their small group together.

About Linda Bonaccorsi
I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
