Description
After passing by a good number of shorebirds, I hit a stretch of empty beach until I reached the tip of Gooseberry Island. There, I found one shorebird, a Purple Sandpiper that was standing on top of one of the rocks sticking out of the water. I sat down and started taking pictures, and I was thrilled when my Purple Sandpiper made its way off the rock and started feeding on small tidbits it found in the water. It was a good sighting for me since I don't come across this bird very often.
