What do you call this color? I always think, "Putty," when I see this color, but that doesn't sound very pretty, does it? I'm not sure what these putty-colored rocks would look like without crystal clear water over them, but I love how they look with the reflections on the moving water. It's so soothing.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England.
