Sneezeweed won't make you sneeze like the ragweed that is in season at the same time, however, at one time, it was dried and crushed to use as snuff. The snuff caused sneezing that was supposed to be used as a remedy. While I'm a big fan of natural remedies, I can assure you, this is not one I'll try. I do intend, however, to enjoy these pretty blooms.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England.
