I didn't take a lot of pictures on my walk this day, but what I did take were filled with lovely warm tones. This Mallard couple flew into the one spot on the pond where I could catch this great color on the water. They were out in the open for less than thirty seconds before heading into overhanging branches. While they are headed in opposite directions in this shot, I can assure you they didn't need couples therapy to help them to decide where to go for cover.

About Linda Bonaccorsi
I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
