We went to the coast, and I came home with Northern Mockingbird pictures. Actually, I came home with seascape images too, but I was having problems with my download and ended up deleting all my good water pictures while keeping the not so great shots. This Northern Mockingbird, however, was a real treat on our walk back on the trail to get to the car. When I stopped to take pictures, it flew down to this spot and was more than willing to let me take some shots.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
