Description
We heard them before we saw them. The Mallards were making quite a bit of noise, apparently chatting with each other. They must be heading out or passing through the area on their way south. My personal observation? There's a higher level of activity/excitement when ducks and other feathered wildlife are migrating. I walked up just as this Mallard Drake flapped his wings, and put on a very brief show for me.
