This sand-bottom brook meanders through a small wooded/wetland area. I always stop in this spot to take in the plants growing in and around the water. I noticed this very small area (almost all shown in this image) that was covered in rocks, and it looked so beautiful through the crystal clear water. Acrylic and metal surfaces are great options for water pictures.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
