I'm a sucker for pink blooms, or more specifically, the more saturated pink of the buds this time of year. This crabapple tree was covered in buds and just enough blooms to make me very happy with a perfect dose of pink.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
