Product Details

Artist's Description

As I was taking pictures of this, I thought it looked like an oyster shell. Such a New England shape reference! I think the final edit of this shot reads more abstract than oyster, and I love the patterns of light and color as they reflect off of the great curves of this little woodland ice formation.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans.
