So nice to get away from the brown and gray of the woods and back to the beach! It was a beautiful day for a walk in the sand and watch the waves as they crashed near the shore. I started at this beach and made a stop at another beach not too far away for a short walk before heading home; I guess it was a doubleheader.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans.
