Product Details

Artist's Description

There is a fine line between "This is a hot mess," and "That's kinda cool," and I think I may have crossed that line with this shot. When a lot of water comes rushing through the dam and hits the water below it does cause a bit of a hot mess, but just maybe a hot mess can also be kinda cool.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans.
