I realize there are so many different variety of flowers in the world, but I have always found Columbine to be one of the more unique flowers I've seen. I Love taking the time to take a close look to appreciate the interesting details of this wildflower.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
