Product Details

Purchase a tote bag featuring the photograph "Anatomy of a Slipper Shell" by Linda Bonaccorsi.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Artist's Description

There must be millions of slipper shells on some beaches, and this beach has patches of piles and piles of these little guys. If you've been following me for a while, then you know I am attracted to the broken, weathered shells more than those that are in "perfect" shape. I don't recall ever seeing this polished inside before. How pretty is that?

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans.
