If you'r scratching your head, and trying to figure one, I'll make it easy for you. This is a rocky area that is covered in ice. I love the drama a little bit of light brings to an otherwise dark setting. There is enough ice to reflect the light, but not so much that we don't get a glimpse of the colors of the stone underneath. There is a structual sensibility in this piece that I find interesting.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
