There is nothing quite like a Swan's wings when they are being held out as they move along the water. This Mute Swan had its wings beautifully displayed, and I love seeing all the detail underneath that isn't usually easily viewed. I can't get over how sculptural this looks!

I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England.
