I like to change up the color combinations in my flower pots every year. Some years, I go with more green foliage and less flower color. Some years, I go with pinks, purples and yellows. This year, I went with reds, whites and purples (blue-violet). The red Dahlias are a show-stopper this year...love them!

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
