What a handsome guy! He posed so beautifully that it seemed like he was sitting for a portrait painting so I decided to enhance that look in editing. There was a female cardinal in the area too, and I can't imagine she that she hadn't noticed him yet.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
