Description
Talk about cuteness overload! This White-tail fawn was a young one, and I felt bad when I realized it thoughtI was Mom returning. I did see a deer about 50 yards away in the deep brush that I think was probably Mom, and she appeared to be listening. I was able to walk away feeling confident this cutie is being well-cared for. I'll add a small PSA: Deer often leave their babies alone for a long time, and we need to resist the temptation to try to intervene to "save" any fawns on their own.
