Artist's Description

They say fences make good neighbors, and the Queen must agree. She's displaying her lace all along sections of chainlink fence along the bike trail, sometimes on the same side of the fence as her roots, and other times her lace travels to the other side. That brings us to another saying...something about the grass being greener on the other side of the fence.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans.
