Wildflower or garden flower? I love seeing wildflowers that are appreciated in the wild, in this case, along the bike trail, as they are in a formal garden. Daylilies are at home wherever they grow, however, I have to admit, I find more satisfaction in discovering them in the wild.

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans.
