Artist's Description
My birding skills are middle of the road level. When I come across experienced birders, I'm often impressed with their ability to identify less common birds by their song, flight pattern, location...While not uncommon, the American Goldfinch is a beautiful little bird, and it was one of the first birds I learned how to identify just by the pattern it flies. Of course, they have a particular song pattern that goes along with that flight pattern too.

About Linda Bonaccorsi

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends.
