If I had to pick a favorite hike from vacation, I'd probably pick the day we went to Bash Bish Falls in Berkshires. We stopped at the falls with a pretty steep descent 1/4 mile down to the falls and back up again. It was worth it; the falls were beautiful. I enjoyed seeing how the water had carved out part of the rock in the upper part of this image, and I was amazed at how clear the water was as it flowed downstream. The rest of our day took us on a steady climb along a stream filled with clear, cold water.
