Artist's Description

This image is grainy, it is an intentional effect. This concrete foundation has made more than one appearance in my gallery; I find it fascinating. I'm not sure what it once supported, because whatever it was is no longer there, but it must have been built in 1902. I noticed as I was going through my pictures from this day that 1902 carved into the top of the wall.

Linda Bonaccorsi

I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans.
