Finding Beauty in Every Bit
I grew up in Kansas, just outside of Kansas City, and while some might find the endless rolling plains to be boring, I love the open space and fantastic sunsets. I have since lived in Minnesota, Rhode Island (briefly), New Hampshire, and now reside in Massachusetts. Most of my photos were taken in New England. I started taking pictures around the age of 10, borrowing my dad's point and shoot to document my adventures during a trip to Colorado with close family friends. My love of animals and all of God's creation has inspired me ever since. There are so many details to discover outdoors, from bees collecting nectar to the great expanse of mountains and oceans. I am particularly fond of birds, and I share a love of birding with my husband. Together, we have cultivated a casual interest in our now-grown son who really prefers bugs and insects over birds.
As a photographer, I am blessed to combine my love of spending time outdoors with my love of taking pictures. I hope to inspire you to see what I see:
SO MUCH BEAUTY IN EVERY BIT
